Team 2: Nelleke, Jenny and Fredériqué: ambitions

Our media

hi guys,
today something about all the media we use. We will talk about them in categories.
Social media;
Our generation uses a lot of social media, think about msn, hyves (that's something like facebook in the Netherlands), facebook etc.
We use a lot of msn in the Netherlands. Almost everyone has it and you can communicate easily at home without wasting money like when you're calling someone. It's easy and fun. We do see that our parents are not as much involved with all the social media as we are. Our parents don't always understand what we are doing when we're sitting behind the computer all day but there is just so much to do.
Of course we use facebook for the vagab project and some of us also already had facebook before we started the project. But there are also a lot of people in the Netherlands that don't have facebook, I think it's really handy because you are able to communicate with everyone, everywhere in the world. So it's nice to talk to friends that you met at vacation and stuff.
and we also use hyves but we don't think that you know that. It's something like facebook in the Netherlands.
News media;
For news we read the newspapers and watch the journal. We also check some news on our phones of course.
We don't read the papers a lot because it takes a lot of time and we don't have that. So we just check the news on our phone or on the internet (like msn.com). We watch the journal sometimes, some people watch it every night, like our fathers, but we just ceck it once in a while. Our parents think that the news is very important for our development and our vision on the world. They think that we have to know what's going on in the world. We agree but we can't always make time for it because our lives are very hectic.
Internet;
We use it for everything; school, friends, news, games etc.
When we don't have internet we are fully separated from everyone. We depend on it very much.
Tv;
We watch tv all the time. We like it so much. We watch shows, the journal of course, soaps, MTV and that's it. Our favorite programs are; 16 and pregnant, super sweet 16, the ultimate dance battle, gossip girl, x-factor and a lot more!
You can also use your tv to watch movies. We like; Harry Potter.
Some stuff about Harry Potter. We like Harry because he's so attractive and magical. He's so perfect! We also like his friends A LOT! Ron and Hermione are great people, especially Ron! His humor is just incredible... He's also super hot you know, but Bas likes Hermione more and he really wants to meet her.
